Tourney Information
- Weigh in will be in half pound increments. Big fish will be in tenth pound increments. In the event of a total weight tie big fish weight will be used to determine winner. In the event of another tie they will split the pots between the two places.
- If all fish weigh the same, the pots will be split evenly between teams.
- The winner of the big fish pot will be the team that enters the heaviest fish during the tournament weigh in.
- Any team late for registration or weigh in times will be considered forfeit.
- Boat must be launched in one of the permitted launch sites.
- Boat must be loaded at the same site as launched however multiple launches may be used.
- No alcohol or drugs permitted during tournament hours.
- No drugs permitted on Carp Cartel Bowfishing store Property, any violations will result in immediate removal from property and forfeit
- All forfeit/disqualifications will result in complete forfeit of entry fee and potential prizes.
- Each team participant must have proper state fishing license and know the laws of the state.
- All fish must be taken from a boat.
- Multiple boats may be used however only one boat is allowed in the water at a time, (one for daytime, one for night).
- Each boat must follow state laws for their vessel to include weight limit and personnel capacities
- Scouting is allowed However No bows, arrows, nets, gigs, or gaffs are allowed in any boat 48 hours prior to the start of the tournament. Violators will be disqualified.
- No baiting, chumming, shocking fish.
- Each team may only weigh fish that were shot by members of their team in the allotted time of the tournament.
- No teaming up and no transferring fish from one boat to another. Violations will result in disqualification of both teams.
- Fish entries must be taken with bow(compound, recurve, longbow, or crossbow.) and a single point arrow attached to it with line.
- Single hook gaffs are allowed for landing shot fish.
- All boats may be subject to a random inspection by the tournament officials prior to the tournament.
- If you break down and cannot get back to the check-in point by your own means, you can get towed back to the launch site by another boat, but your teams fish must not leave your vessel.
- Boat must return to the tournament site. (Boat Towing will not be penalized if late to weigh in)
- You cannot have a non-team member aid with transportation, driving the boat, shining of the lights, retrieving or transporting fish.
- Anyone in the boat must pay registration fee as a competitor.
- If your team forfeits and leaves before weigh-in, one member must call or text the tournament organizer (208)283-1866 and let him know that your team will not be returning for weigh-in.
- No altering fish to add weight or remove weight.
- Fish are not to be kept on ice.
- Fish may be gutted for inspection.
- Carp Cartel Bowfishing Store has the right to change and enforce rules as deemed necessary and has the right to deny entry and/or disqualify any team at any time for any reason as they see fit to preserve safety and the integrity of our tournament.
- If you have any concerns or problems with any of these rules please address them with the Tournament Director
- Signature of liability release is also acceptance of these rules
- Tournament host and sponsors are not responsible for any accidents or lost/stolen property. Liability Release must be signed by all participants prior to camping, or participation in this tourney.
- These waivers deem that no liability to property or persons, death or injury shall be the responsibility to CARP CARTEL BOWFISHING or its owners/volunteers.
- Not having a waiver signed and dated will disqualify you from competing.
- You Presume all risks on your own behalf and cannot hold anyone else but yourself accountable during this event.
- All participants under 18 must have parent/guardian signatures for liability release.
